He became the youngest ever student accepted to the Canadian Film Center’s writer’s lab, and went on to write and direct an award-winning documentary screened across Canada and the northern States.

    Leadership Writing Workshop [Virtual Learning]

Most professionals don’t write with confidence. Maybe you’re looking for work, but your cover letter isn’t getting any calls. Or you’ve laboured over that important email, but it explodes into a thread of cross talk and everyone needs “clarification.” Maybe you’re writing a pitch for an idea you love - but somehow it just falls flat. Or maybe you just wrote a short, totally self-explanatory message on Slack but it puts a colleague on the defensive, and you can’t figure out why.

The great news is there’s some really simple techniques that you can learn to punch up your writing in a big way. To make your writing clear and direct. To take what’s in your brain, and put it in someone else’s brain.

BERTEIG is offering a writing workshop that we think you’re really going to enjoy. In the sense of: “I learned something. I used to dread writing, now I’m looking forward to it. I didn’t know how to get my passion across. Now I’m getting calls. Now I’m getting action.”

    - Now more than ever, teams are working remotely; effective writing can save hours and days, or weeks, of confusion and frustration.
    - We’re going to tear it down to the basics; to transform your writing, to make your writing more authoritative and confident.
    - We’ll practice a variety of useful techniques that will let you express your meaning, tell your story, and get action.

Thinking is writing, and writing is thinking.

Re-Tribe

Re-Tribe empowers people to bring about positive change in their life through community and connection.

We facilitate safe and inclusive spaces for people who experience mental health challenges. We understand the impact living with such challenges can have in our personal and professional lives and work to provide networks of support that accommodate the different and unique needs of the individual. Through active engagement and integrative learning, we provide opportunities to share, connect and build sustainable networks of support. Through workshops, one to one counseling and tribe formation, we create and cultivate holistic ways of self development, community building and collective well being.

Our Workshops:

Our online workshops are designed to co-create spaces of mental, emotional and (virtual) physical safety and support. Using an integrative counselling approach and the knowledge of lived experience, each workshop honours the power of community, the wisdom in story-sharing and the importance of reflection and intention setting.

With the current global health crisis we are offering workshops that are guided by the principles of cultivating self care during a time of challenge. Areas we explore include, anxiety, loneliness & isolation, resiliency & resource gathering, unlearning and re-teaching, boundaries, grief & loss and the changing relationships with people and/or substances. Each topic includes three to four sessions and will incorporate practices, accountability-buddies, check-ins and anything else that may be needed to build solidarity, security, trust and respect that has been agreed upon by participants.

People We Work With...

...whenever we can!
These are people who have a great deal of experience and expertise. Often we will bring them into larger coaching, consulting or training engagements. Each has special expertise that you will not find elsewhere. Consider asking about them if you are engaging BERTEIG on an agile transformation or digital transformation effort.
